When you are harvesting the sunflowers, use the provided clippers, choose your length of sunflower, then clip right above a leaf. This will ensure more growth.

These are not for seeds. They are for a fresh bouquet of flowers to put in a vase.

When you get them home, snip a little off the cut end to ensure water absorption from the flower to last you up to 6 days.
